Does David Teie’s “Cat Music” Really Work? Let’s Find Out

Tagged: , , , , , ,

Recently, I saw the video above going around on Facebook that introduces David Teie’s composition specially meant for cats. Visiting the website, it claims that the music is “verified by science” and that “cats showed a significant preference for and interest in species-appropriate music”.

So since I own a Snow Bengal—named Romeo—I decided to do a little science experiment of my own. Watch the video below to see Romeo’s reaction.

As you can see, Romeo does not give two hoots—or rather, two purrs—about the soothing sounds “verified by science”. Then again, this breed of cat is a weird one. He probably is a were-kitty.

So, for all you cat lovers and cat owners out there, how about putting this to the test and share with me if it works?
